About Me

Rooted in Trauma Recovery

My clinical work is grounded in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and a deep appreciation for the role of culture, relationships, and early life experiences in shaping who we become. Having lived and worked across multiple cultural contexts—from southwest China to Japan to the United States—I bring a broad, relational lens to understanding human experience and healing.

Today, I specialize in working with complex trauma, including PTSD and dissociative presentations, and with women through pregnancy- and postpartum-related mood challenges, birth trauma, and the identity shifts that often accompany becoming a parent. I offer a steady, collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients can slow down, understand long-standing patterns, and develop the capacity to live with greater agency, clarity, and emotional freedom.

Areas of Focus

Trauma & Attachment

Childhood neglect or abuse.

Emotional wounds that never fully healed. PTSD or complex trauma that still lives in the body. We work at the depth where patterns were formed—so stability feels earned, not forced.

Financial Psychology

Money anxiety. Relational tension around finances.

Success without peace.

We explore the emotional patterns beneath earning, spending, and investing so that confidence with money would no longer be a dream.

Relationships & Boundaries

Over-giving. Difficulty saying no.

Repeating dynamics you promised yourself you wouldn't.

Together we strengthen boundaries, communication, and emotional security without losing connection.

Anxiety & High-Functioning Overwhelm

You perform well. You carry responsibility.
But internally, it’s exhausting.

Racing thoughts. Pressure to hold everything together.
We address the root drivers beneath this costly productivity.

Grief & Life Transitions

Loss of a loved one, a beloved pet, or a job. Immigration or moving away from family. Parenthood. Miscarriage.

When life takes an unexpected turn, therapy offers a steady place to grieve, reorganize, and begin again.

Pregnancy, Postpartum & Birth Trauma

Fertility challenges. Pregnancy after loss. A birth that felt frightening or out of control.
The quiet loneliness of early motherhood.

When your body remembers more than your mind wants to, we gently process what happened, restoring safety, confidence, and connection to yourself.

Speaking & Workshops

Over the past decade, I have been honored to speak at churches and community organizations, including Westminster Chapel (Bellevue, WA) and ECC (Redmond, WA), and to provide training and educational workshops for parents and licensed therapists in both the United States and China.

Topics have included the often unspoken emotional impact of childbirth, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD), parenting adolescents, trauma recovery, and healing within Christian communities.

For speaking invitations or training inquiries, please feel free to contact me to explore how I may support your community or organization.
